The Fried Liver Attack, also called the Fegatello Attack (named after an Italian dish), is a chess opening. This opening is a variation of the Two Knights Defense in which White sacrifices a knight for an attack on Black's king. The opening is popular with younger players who like the name and the aggressive, attacking style.

11:44 why do you say black is moving to “save a hanging rook”? That’s not at all correct as the knight covers it and he moves the rook still into the bishops sight. The point was that after bishop takes queen he could take back with rook

She and her family are just adorable, impossible to not love them.😊

Bobby realised that the better your memory and ability to memorise variations the better your chess. He realised it was not genius and ability but rather memory based and fell out with chess so much so that they thought he'd gone insane. He was right. Hence why the likes of magnus can play blind folded. They can memorise the board, piece placements and variations.

Kramnik's deployment of the Berlin Defense is the greatest innovation since the Marshall Attack. He forced players to make their pieces work together in controlling squares to reduce attacking chances for White. He made Kasparov's attacking plans irrelevant forcing him to play 'Thinking Chess At The Board.' He also made players think about finding new paths in old openings for surprise use. History will revere him for the above mentioned ideas.
